Functions of the PAU Committee

The responsibilities of the SAPP-PAU Center include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Conduct regional analytical work,
2. Use the grant funding received by the SAPP-CC to screen, select, prepare and monitor the implementation of regional priority projects, and
3. Play an advisory role to SADC governments and utilities

The objective is “to be accountable for the preparation and implementation of selected and agreed priority regional electricity projects in the Southern African Power Pool region”
